Parker A. Tilley ’19
Parker A. Tilley of Atlanta is an Honors College alumnus who graduated from
Clemson’s Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business in 2019 with bachelor’s degrees in both accounting and financial management. He is on track to complete master’s degrees in both finance and business administration in 2027 from Auburn University’s Raymond J. Harbert College of Business.
After his Clemson graduation, Parker joined Truist Securities (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) as a TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) investment banking portfolio management analyst. His responsibilities were expanded in 2022, and he was named an investment grade syndicated finance associate in 2023.
Parker actively recruits Clemson students for internships and full-time positions with Truist, including through networking events and information sessions. He has volunteered for the Tiger Ties Mentor program, which provides students with industry-specific insights, guidance and opportunities to make connections and identify core competencies necessary for success. Upon graduation from Clemson he served on the Powers College of Business Advocacy and Engagement Board and its Industry Relevance Subcommittee, helping to shape how the college ensures that its global and career engagement programs and services stay current and responsive to industry needs and evolving markets.
His financial contributions to Clemson include establishing the Parker A. Tilley Endowed Scholarship for the Powers College of Business and a companion annual scholarship. He supports student-athletes as an IPTAY donor and volunteers as an IPTAY representative.
Beyond Clemson, he serves remotely as director of development and communications for the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis, Ill., which helps prepare local youth for successful futures. He also supports Davidson-Davie Community College in North Carolina with scholarship development and serves on its foundation’s board of directors.
