A Student Send-Off Celebration is a special hometown group of new students posing in front of an orange, white and purple balloon archtradition that welcomes newly accepted Clemson students and their families into the Clemson Family before they begin their journey on campus. Hosted by local Clemson Clubs, these celebrations bring together alumni, current students, club leaders, Orientation Ambassadors, and representatives from Clemson University and the Clemson Alumni Association for an evening of connection, excitement, and Tiger pride.

Students and families can hear firsthand about life at Clemson, discover the traditions, opportunities, and experiences that make Clemson special, and begin building meaningful connections with fellow incoming students from their own community. It’s a chance to celebrate this exciting milestone, ask questions, and start feeling at home with Clemson before arriving on campus.
