Grab your picnic baskets, blankets, and folding chairs! We’re going to the Botanical Gardens’ Whitaker Concert!

We hope you and your family can join us on Wednesday, June 21st, at the Missouri Botanical Gardens to enjoy an evening of music and socializing. That night’s entertainment is the local band Hazard To Ya Booty who ‘fuses elements of rock, soul, hip-hop, jazz, and blues to make a head bobbing funk sound.’ Definitely a crowd pleaser!

Free admission to the park and children’s garden begins at 5pm. The concert begins at 7:30. We will meet in the Grass Area Behind the Sheep (Click here to view map-yellow star) – look for people dressed in Clemson gear. You are welcome to bring your own picnic supper, baskets or coolers. Picnic fare, beer, wine, soda and sno-cones are also available for purchase on-site.

We will make sure to have someone there by 6pm to secure a spot, but feel free to come whenever it is convenient – admission ends at 9pm.

Please try to RSVP either to Sara McBride (SMcBride82@gmail.com) or via facebook by 5pm that day so we can claim enough space for everyone. However, it’s usually not packed in that area so please come even if you don’t RSVP.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Sara (SMcBride82@gmail.com) or check out the Whitaker Concert Website.
