Corkcicle

We started with a question. How do you chill wine to the perfect drinking temp, without the mess of an ice bucket? To solve it, we tested, obsessed and perfected our way to our very first product: The
original Corkcicle Air in-bottle wine chiller. As we grow and evolve, our mission is still the same: Make every sip an experience. How can we tweak commonplace things to make them better? How can we add value to everyday moments? These challenges excite and push us to create cool stuff with meaning. Style and sustainability shouldn’t be tradeoffs. In fact, we believe in creating products that enhance personal style while reducing personal impact on the planet. Our Canteens, Tumblers, Stemless Wine Cups, Mugs, and Tumbler Straws are completely reusable,
so you can feel good about making them part of your every day.

Dapper Sandlapper

A Dapper Sandlapper was born from boredom with department store neckwear. As a student as Clemson, I started wearing bow ties and quickly grew tired with the boring department store options. I wholeheartedly believed that bow ties could be a lot more fun and set out to make that happen. What started with just bow ties has now grown into improving any and all accessories I can manage! I make bow ties (for adults, kids, and dogs), pocket squares, lapel pins, neckties, and even fanny packs. Life is far too short to wear anything boring!

Elkmont Trading Co
“Elkmont Trading Company is the result of Lee and Aimee Hill’s collaborative efforts and vision.  Lee, a Clemson graduate (MBA 2000) purchased struggling Outdoor Adventures in 1998 because Clemson “deserved a better outfitter.”  Lee worked two jobs to build Outdoor Adventures into a viable entity.  For 13 years, Lee, an Appalachian Trail Thru-Hiker, operated the shop that focused on climbing, paddling and backpacking.
In 2011 Lee met Aimee, a Greenville local with retail experience from King Street in Charleston and flair for fashion and merchandising.  The “dirty little outfitter” was transformed into an outdoor influenced lifestyle boutique offering the latest trends and sensible fashion wear from top brands.

In 2014, the business was moved to its current location where Lee’s business background and Clemson education and Aimee’s fashion sense and eye for trends was rebranded as Elkmont Trading Company.  The goal today is to provide the community with a unique and memorable shopping experience that is heavily influenced by Clemson.  So much so that Elkmont’s tagline has evolved into the following:  “If you haven’t been to Elkmont, you haven’t been to Clemson.”

Everyday, we strive to meet that standard.  GO TIGERS!”

Enchantment Essentials
Adina Oree Starke graduated from Clemson in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Communications, and has since worked in the printing industry. Her passion for making natural handmade bath products was ignited following her wedding in 2017, when her cousin made “hugely popular soap favors” that were both attractive and soothing. “I have sensitive skin and wanted to use natural, skin-safe and of course, great smelling products,” she said. Starke liked them so much that she got her cousin to teach her the fundamentals of soap making, which gave her the foundation to develop her own style. Enchantment Essential was born. Starke didn’t stop at soaps —she expanded to include bath bombs, sugar scrubs, lotion bars, whipped body butters, and bath salts, and more.
“I love being able to create a finished product that stimulates the senses and also provides beneficial properties.” said Starke.

The Fizz Boutique
In December 2018 Allie graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Communication and a minor in Business Administration. Since high school, she has had a passion for boutiques and small chain retail. After managing Razzberry Fizz for several months, Allie knew that this is what she was made to do for a living. When the opportunity to own a boutique presented itself, the answer seemed so clear.. YES! But there are so many risks in owning a business. Allie has always been a risk taker, but never had to make a life decision of this magnitude. “This meant dedicating myself and my life to this boutique, with no option to change my mind- as I frequently do,” said Allie. Prayers, tears, fear, but mostly excitement! Allie began to have a vision for this local spot and saw so much potential not only for the store but also in herself. On October 23, 2019, risk = taken. I am so excited to share this journey with y’all and can’t wait for The Fizz Boutique to become a Clemson staple and your go-to hometown boutique. – Allie Ammons
