Game Day, December 21, 2024 (This event is SOLD OUT)
Tickets are SOLD OUT for the official Clemson Alumni & Family Tailgate in Austin, hosted by the Clemson Alumni Association, from 11:00am – 2:00pm CT at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library Lawn (LBJ Library Lawn).
Less than an 8 minute walk (0.4 miles) from Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, this pre-game gathering will offer a DJ and opportunity to preview the SMU vs. Penn State game and unlimited food and drink menu including fare from local favorite Pok-e-Jo’s BBQ. We will also take care of your gameday giveaways, so you are ready for the game in Clemson style!

- WHERE: Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library Lawn (LBJ Library Lawn) – near the corner of E. Dean Keeton Street and Red River Street / Parking Lot 40 (2313 Red River St, Austin, TX 78705)
- WHAT TIME: 11:00am – 2:00pm CST (ending 1 hour prior to the 3:00pm CST / 4:00pm EST kickoff of the Clemson @ Texas game)
- TICKET COST:
- $100 for adults 21 and older
- $60 for children 6-20
- Free for children 5 and under
- MENU: Pok-e-Jo’s BBQ menu will include: Post oak-smoked beef brisket and hand basted turkey breast, along with their signature jalapeno cornbread, mac-n-cheese and cole slaw. There will be assorted soda products, water, brewed iced tea, lemonade, wine, High Noon and beer to drink (ID required).

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable and will be available to purchase until sold out.
Pro-Tip, post-season tailgate tickets historically sell out quickly – secure yours early!
How will I get my tailgate ticket?
All tickets will be emailed directly to the ticket purchaser’s email provided at checkout. You do NOT need to print your tickets. Please have them handy on your phone upon arrival.
Is my ticket valid for any other events happening around the tailgate?
Clemson Alumni & Family Tailgate tickets are only valid for the pre-game event on the LBJ Library Lawn.
How do I get to the tailgate?
The LBJ Library Lawn is located on the University of Texas – Austin campus at the corner of E. Dean Keeton St. and Red River St. / Parking Lot 40 (2313 Red River St, Austin, TX 78705).
Once parked/dropped off on campus, walking access to the tailgate can be made from Robert Dedman Drive, E. Dean Keeton Street or Red River Street (by Lot 40). See map below:
Can I walk to the stadium from the tailgate?
The tailgate is located 0.4 miles from the stadium and is approximately an 8-minute walk. (Like walking from the lower intramural fields to Memorial Stadium in Clemson!)

Where do I park?
Parking is not included in this event ticket. There are limited spaces available for purchase ($250/ea) in Lot 40 right next to the Clemson Alumni & Family Tailgate location. These spots can be purchased by calling Evan Weber, Executive GM for REVELxp – Texas, at 210-391-1549.
