Twin Wins

I lost my class ring in downtown Minneapolis in 1987 while celebrating the Minnesota Twin World Series victory. It flew off my finger when I high-fived a complete stranger among the thousands of celebrants.

Over a year later, a woman who had found the ring on the street the day after the game decided to try to get it back to its owner. Using the name inscribed inside the ring, she tracked me down, and I had the ring back within two hours. The ring had sat on her coffee table for 14 months!
I still have the ring and proudly wear it almost every day.
