W. Lee Small ’94 of Franklin, TN named to Alumni Association Board
The Clemson Alumni Association has named W. Lee Small of Franklin, TN to its board of directors. His term began July 1.
Small earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University in 1994. He currently is senior vice president and divisional sales manager with John Hancock Investments.
As a student at Clemson, Small was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Professionally, Small is a Certified Wealth Advisor (CWPA) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Since graduation, Small has dedicated his time to Clemson serving as a lecturer in Clemson Marketing Department’s Sales and Innovation Program (SIP).
Small states, “I have a lifelong passion for Clemson University and I am excited and honored to serve on the Alumni Association Board. I look forward to helping connect more Alumni back to Clemson University.”
The alumni board has 22 members and is the governing body for the Clemson Alumni Association. Primary responsibilities of the board include general oversight of the programs and initiatives of the association, financial audit and review, the establishment of governing policies and strategic planning.
