Members of the Class of 2023 will have the opportunity to tour Fort Hill, the antebellum plantation of John C. Calhoun, South Carolina’s pre-eminent 19th century statesman. The plantation later belonged to Anna Maria Calhoun Clemson, daughter of John and Floride Calhoun, and her husband Thomas Green Clemson.
