Looking to participate in Clemson’s storied lineup of campus traditions? The Student Alumni Council is made up of 40 Tigers who serve as guardians of the University’s most cherished traditions.

    • Start the semester with the Welcome Back Festival – an event that supports student scholarships and is designed to showcase all that the Clemson campus and community have to offer to incoming students. Look for the SAC students in purple polos!
    • Participate in Solid Orange Friday every Friday! We want to see you in Clemson orange! Look for *free* t-shirt distributions in partnership with CUSG and ISAB.
    • Show your spirit at Cocky’s Funeral – a pep rally with appearances from Tiger Band, campus VIPs, that culminates with the burning of the bird!
    • Nominate a professor for the Master Teacher – awarded annually to a Clemson faculty member who goes above and beyond for student support.
    • Connect with a member of the Clemson Alumni family on the TigerLink Gateway to learn best practices for advancing professionally.
    • If you want to be part of the team that makes these exciting traditions happen from year-to-year, apply in the spring to be a Traditions Keeper and member of the Student Alumni Council. For more information, contact SAC President, Trey Dowling (dowlin6@clemson.edu).
