I’m a lifelong Tiger fan, growing up outside of Seneca. I sew Beau’s Bandanas for dogs in a variety of seasonal and everyday patterns , including team colors of orange and purple. I promote rescue and regularly contribute to various rescue organizations. Beau’s Bandanas are named after our first disc dog, a rescue Border Collie/Aussie. Fun fact, one of our other dogs was my football watching buddy and I had him trained to bark when I said “GO TIGERS!”.
A Dapper Sandlapper was born from boredom with department store neckwear. As a student at Clemson, I started wearing bow ties and quickly grew tired of the boring department store options. I wholeheartedly believed that bow ties could be a lot more fun and set out to make that happen. What started with just bow ties has now grown into improving any and all accessories I can manage! I make bow ties (for adults, kids, and dogs), pocket squares, lapel pins, neckties, and even fanny packs. Life is far too short to wear anything boring!

My blood truly runs orange! I grew up in Clemson and graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree in 1995. My parents and all 3 siblings are Clemson graduates as well. My mother was crowned the first Miss Clemson in 1962 and my father has not missed one single home Clemson football game in 65 years! My son is now a freshman and is proud to be carrying on the family tradition. My love of making pottery started as a hobby in the late 90’s.
