As a student at Clemson, she was involved with several organizations that not only shaped her but also grounded her love of the university.

She has enjoyed serving Clemson throughout her years in Greenville and has enjoyed the addition of her recent role of being a Clemson Parent. Along with her husband Jimmy, their children Peyton and Jack have each earned their undergraduate degrees from Clemson and their daughter Mae is a sophomore majoring in nursing. Their youngest son, Will, is a senior at Greenville High School.

On her appointment to the board of directors, she stated, “I could have never done anything to deserve the blessings that have stemmed from my Clemson experiences and relationships, but I can spend my days working to return them. I am humbled to have the opportunity to do so through the Clemson Alumni Association Board.”

The alumni board has 22 members and is the governing body for the Clemson Alumni Association. Primary responsibilities of the board include general oversight of the programs and initiatives of the association, financial audit and review, the establishment of governing policies and strategic planning.

The Clemson Alumni Association is an open-membership, nonprofit organization. Since its inception in 1896, the program has connected members of the Clemson family, inspiring pride, celebrating achievement, providing service and strengthening relationships. Learn more at www.clemson.edu/alumni.
