It is hard to believe it, but it is time for our Clemson Tigers to kick off the 2019 season. This year the Tigers open the season against Georgia Tech on Thursday, August 29th at 7:00pm. We will be meeting at our new watch party location for this one, Firecracker Pizza.
Firecracker is in the Grove and is a local pizza and craft beer restaurant. They have been kind enough to provide us with select beer and pizza specials during games and some exclusive space to watch the game. Firecracker is also kid friendly and the entire family is welcome to attend.
Kickoff is at 7pm, though some of us will be there a bit early, and we hope to see everyone there to celebrate a new season of Clemson football. If you have any questions about our watch parties, the club, or Firecracker Pizza please email me at blewis593@gmail.com.
One thing we are trying to do this year is get RSVPs for attendance. This is to help out Firecracker so that they can staff the bar appropriately. We want to avoid having them over or understaffed based on a guess of how many people are going to show up.
