On Saturday, 9/28/24 at 4pm (PDT) Stanford will make its first trip to Death Valley where the new ACC foes will meet for the 2nd time ever. (Danny Ford’s Clemson team beat Stanford in the 1986 Gator Bowl, 27-21.)
There will be 2 football-viewing parties in Silicon Valley & San Francisco. Please join us! Information for each party-venue follows.
The Showdown, 1628 Grant Ave., San Francisco.
Coffee, food & adult-beverages are served. There will be swag & free raffle tix for a box suite in Death Valley.
The Showdown is pet friendly and kids are allowed, though please note it may get crowded later as more games kickoff and can get loud inside. There are a few ways to get in from outside the city:
● From BART: Get off at Montgomery Street station and take the 8 Muni line (10 mins) or walk (~20 mins, mostly flat).
● From the Ferry: Walk ~20-25 minutes (mostly flat) from either the Ferry Building plaza or wharf
● Parking: Recommend the North Beach Garage which is ~1.5 blocks from the Showdown.
The Sports Page, 1431 Plymouth St., Mtn. View.
Coffee, food & adult-beverages are served. There will be swag & free raffle tix for a box suite in Death Valley.
We will view the game on the covered patio on one of the three 84″ TVs. The patio has an outdoor bar, food service, heaters, and 2 entrance-gates, so there is no need to go inside (except that the bathrooms are inside near the front door). It is pet & kid friendly, with giant games like Jenga, Connect 4, ping-pong, billiards, and a sand volleyball court.
If you have any questions, please contact Libby Canup (San Francisco) or Dave Riola (Silicon Valley) through the Northern CA Clemson Club Facebook page, or email us at norcalclemsonclub@gmail.com.
