We hope you all can join us on this coming Saturday as our #10 Tigers go for their sixth straight win against Coach Tony Elliot and the Virginia Cavaliers (What’s a Wahoo??) this coming Saturday at Bowstring Burgers and Brewyard.
We will start gathering at 11:30 AM for a noon kick off. Bowstring is offering $10 burger baskets for anyone wearing Clemson apparel. A noon game is great because you can take in a game and still make it to your oyster roast party or whatever else you have planned for Saturday night. Let’s show up and be loud and proud of our Tigers!
Many of us know personally someone or a family that has been impacted directly by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. To support those who have been hurt by this storm, the Cape Fear Clemson Club is raising funds to support the Student Emergency Fund.
To help support our fundraising efforts, Bowstring has generously offered to match 20 cents to every dollar Clemson Alumni attending game parties in October (three games) donates to this fund. We will have a special QR code made for this purpose. Or as an alternative, can provide a screenshot of your donation verification for the match. We will accumulate the funds by the end of October and send the money to the fund in Clemson.
The Student Emergency Fund was created to help students with financial assistance in a time of need. This fund is intended to be a supplemental financial resource when students are unable to meet immediate and essential expenses due to unexpected, unforeseen, and unavoidable circumstances.
We still have some of our new Cape Fear Clemson Club t-shirts left in limited sizes. We plan on ordering another batch of them and will take orders for expected delivery in November. The shirts cost $25 and all proceeds benefit our Cape Fear Clemson Scholarship Fund.
Looking forward to catching up with all of you soon. Go Tigers!
