DESCRIPTION:September First Thursday Lunch\nwith\nClemson Legend Levon Kirkland \nThursday\, September 9\, 12:00 – 1:00pm \nAlumni\, parents and students are all invited to talk some football tomorrow with special guest and Clemson legend Levon Kirkland and the Baltimore/DC Clemson Club!   This casual lunchtime event brings Tigers together to talk about two of our favorite things: Clemson and football. \nWhile at Clemson from 1988 – 1991\, Levon played under Danny Ford and Ken Hatfield and earned multiple All-American and All-ACC accolades.  Setting a school record with 43 starts as an outside linebacker\, he also started four straight bowl games\, including the 1988 and 1991 seasons when the Tigers were ACC Champions. \nLevon then went on to play for 11 seasons in the NFL with the Steelers\, Eagles and Seahawks and was part of the Steelers’ Super Bowl XXX team.  A Clemson Ring of Honor inductee\, Levon was recently named to the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame ballot. \nThe First Thursday Lunch series is hosted by Board Member Allen Martin ’69 and will be held at Allen’s office\, The Livingston Group\, 499 S.
