DESCRIPTION:Clemson’s annual homecoming celebration\, Tigerama\, will take place this year on October 6th at 7 pm right here inside Memorial Stadium.This event has grown immensely from where it started 67 years ago\, when the famous Clemson Alumni\, Joe Sherman\, brought this idea to Clemson in hopes of creating a uniting event full of spirit at the end of homecoming week. Since then\, Tigerama has grown to feature student groups\, entertainment segments\, philanthropic efforts\, a fireworks display and a concert every year on the Friday night of Homecoming Week. This year\, Tigerama will feature a unique combination of traditional and transformational components. Just as in previous years\, the audience can expect the crowning of the 2023 Miss Homecoming Queen\, Fireworks\, appearances from the Rally Cats\, Tigerband\, the football team\, student music groups\, and so much more. The show will also include a concert by world-famous American rapper\, Waka Flocka Flame. Tigerama is not only a catalyst for school spirit\, it is also a source of essential scholarship support. Since its founding in 1957\, the proceeds from Tigerama have provided the top student from each academic major a Tigerama scholarship\, which recognizes excellence in the classroom and leadership in the community.The theme of this year’s Tigerama is “Beyond the Paw.” The theme celebrates the university’s rich history and its commitment to pushing boundaries\, reaching new heights\, and creating a positive impact on the world. It’s the idea that being a part of Clemson goes beyond the physical campus. It’s about carrying the memories\, lessons\, and friendships wherever one goes. It’s a commitment to honesty\, integrity\, and respect that extends beyond graduation\, as the love we have for Clemson is boundless and lasts a lifetime.To experience how Clemson University goes “Beyond the Paw”\, we would love for you to join us in celebrating one of the most special traditions that Clemson has to offer during this year’s Homecoming week. DESCRIPTION:This weekend our Clemson Tigers get a chance to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday\, October 7th. Kickoff is a bit later than normal for this one\, 2:30 pm Central Time and once again we will be having a watch party at iTap Delmar.iTap details:iTap Delmar is located in “The Link in The Loop” near the corner of Delmar and Skinker. Opened in August of 2021\, iTAP Delmar offers 40+ draft beers\, hundreds of bottles\, and an expanded Whisky list. They have also expanded to in-house batched draft cocktails\, canned cocktails\, spiked seltzers and wine.But don’t let it being a “bar” concern you – kids and those under 21 are welcome until 8pm.Parking: There is dedicated free parking behind the building (if you’re on Delmar\, go north on Skinker and park behind that first building) and there are several other free parking lots and street parking all across the Loop.Food: iTap does not serve food\, but welcomes you to bring in your own or order food for delivery – there are plenty of restaurants in The Loop and the bartenders are more than happy to provide menus for nearby locations that will deliver.RSVP: In order to ensure that iTap has enough staff on hand for our group\, we need to give them a headcount. Please fill out this google form if you are planning on coming to watch. It’s a quick 2 question survey to give us an idea of how many are in your party. Based on this headcount iTap will be able to plan how many bartenders they need on hand to keep everyone’s glass full.That said\, even if you don’t fill out the form you are welcome to come.
