It has been a while since we have been able to gather as a community\, and what better way to celebrate a new football season and new streak of Tigers than an afternoon of food\, fun and fellowship!Everyone is invited – alumni\, families\, current and incoming Clemson and Bridge students – to enjoy a BBQ dinner with fellow Tigers as we welcome the new students into the Clemson family.We will have some remarkable Alumni speakers\, lots of cool Clemson swag\, a fun raffle for prizes\, and students will get some great gifts! Triangle Clemson Club t-shirts will be available to order. Come ready to celebrate all things Orange and White and show these new Tigers what being “All In” is all about!\nWe are hoping to have some Tigertown Bound yard signs. DESCRIPTION:The Clemson Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Council invites you to join us for the premiere\, kick-off event of the academic year at Clemson University\, the Welcome Back Festival. Each year\, the festival features more than 90 local vendors offering a variety of merchandise and food on College Avenue in downtown Clemson\, SC. The festival transforms downtown Clemson into a massive street celebration of fun\, food\, and fellowship. It also offers area businesses the opportunity to display their services and products to students\, welcome them back for another academic year\, and share their Tiger spirit. All proceeds from the festival contribute to the SAC Scholarship Endowment Fund\, established in 1987 to assist future students attending Clemson University.  \nDetails about the 2021 Welcome Back Festival \n\nMonday\, August 22\, 2021\n6:00pm-8:00pm\nDowntown Clemson\nStudents\, faculty\, staff\, alumni\, visitors and the Clemson community are invited to attend\nVendors will host tables along College Avenue offering a variety of items in exchange for festival tickets.\n\nExamples of items from previous years include t-shirts\, sports bottles\, travel cups\, food\, drinks\, ice cream\, snow cones\, beauty products\, jewelry\, koozies\, phone accessories\, hats\, specialty bags and tons of local coupons and chances to win raffle prizes like a scooter\, gift basket or experience.\n\n\nFestival tickets can be purchased at the festival for $1.00 each with a minimum purchase of 5.\nEach vendor item will vary in the number of tickets needed to acquire the item.\nVendors must provide an item that can be exchanged for festival tickets and all items must have a ticket exchange value.

The tailgate will take place at STATS Upstairs at STATS Brewpub and connecting Garden Terrace at Der Biergarten (300 Marietta St NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30313). The event will run from 4-7 PM. DESCRIPTION:After a few years off due to COVID\, we are excited to announce the return of our watch parties for the 2022 Football Season. Due to the closure of Firecracker Pizza\, our previous watch party home\, the new location for our watch parties will be iTap Delmar. \nOur first game this season is on Labor Day\, September 5th\, against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm for this one and some of us will be there a bit early. \niTap details:\niTAP Delmar is located in “The Link in The Loop” near the corner of Delmar and Skinker. Opened in August of 2021\, iTAP Delmar offers 40+ draft beers\, hundreds of bottles\, and an expanded Whisky list. They have also expanded to in-house batched draft cocktails\, canned cocktails\, spiked seltzers and wine. \nBut don’t let it being a “bar” concern you – kids and those under 21 are welcome until 8pm. \nParking: There is a dedicated free parking behind the building (if you’re on Delmar\, go north on Skinker and park behind that first building) and there are several other free parking lots and street parking all across the Loop. \nFood: iTap does not serve food\, but welcomes you to bring in your own or order food for deliver – there are plenty of restaurants in The Loop and the bartenders are more than happy to provide menus for nearby locations that will deliver. \nRSVP:\nIn order to ensure that iTap has enough staff on hand for our group\, we need to give them a headcount. Please fill out this google form if you are planning on coming to watch. It’s a quick 2 question survey to give us an idea of how many are in your party. Based on this headcount iTap will be able to plan how many bartenders they need on hand to keep everyone’s glass full of beer. \nThat said\, even if you don’t fill out the form you are welcome to come.
