DESCRIPTION:You are warmly invited to a special evening dedicated to protecting the living species behind Clemson’s iconic Tiger identity: the wild tiger. \nOn Monday\, October 5\, Tigers United at Clemson University will host an evening of conservation\, connection\, and philanthropic impact at the Greenville Zoo. Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and longtime WYFF News 4 anchor Jane Robelot will emcee the evening\, and we are honored to welcome special guest Ambassador David Wilkins\, former U.S. Ambassador to Canada and former Speaker of the South Carolina House. Both are proud Clemson alumni\, joining our founding Tigers United Ambassadors in championing the University’s global conservation mission. \nTogether with fellow alumni\, conservation leaders\, and friends\, you will hear our featured presentation\, “From Mascot to Mission: A Model for Tiger Conservation\,” exploring how Clemson has turned its Tiger identity into a global conservation mission. The work is already advancing in tiger landscapes\, from real-time AI wildlife monitoring and frontline conservation training to education\, community stewardship\, student research\, and international partnerships. \nThe model is proven\, and it has reached a pivotal moment: a bridge year that carries this work into its next chapter of growth and impact. \nYou will also learn how to become part of the Tigers United community through Tiger Circles\, stay connected to the mission\, and help carry this work forward with your support.
