The Clemson Class of 1972 Reunion will be held June 9-10, 2022 at the Madren Conference Center on Clemson University’s campus. We will be celebrating the class with a variety of events, tours and celebrations along with your classmates. Make your plans to join us!

WHAT IS THE GOLDEN TIGER REUNION?

The Golden Tiger Reunion is an annual celebration intended to complement the induction of the 50th reunion class into the Golden Tiger Society. During the celebration, Golden Tigers reunite with their former classmates and commemorate their induction by participating in a graduation-style ceremony. Each Golden Tiger will have their name called and will cross a stage to be presented with a Golden Tiger Society induction certificate and lapel pin. Clemson University and Alumni Association leadership will be in attendance to congratulate the new class of Golden Tigers. The classes of 1970 and 1971 will also celebrate their 50th reunion at this time.

2:00 pm	2022 Golden Tiger Reunion Golf Scramble	Walker Golf Course	Members of the classes of 1970, 1971 & 1972 are invited to kick off their 50th reunion with the 2022 Golden Tiger Reunion Golf Scramble! The shotgun start will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Walker Golf Course at the Madren Conference Center on Clemson’s campus. Registrants will enjoy an afternoon of golf along the edge of Clemson’s campus and Lake Hartwell and conclude the afternoon with a social and pre-reunion check-in at the Madren Conference Center. Registration is $100 per single player and $400 per team. To register, visit alumni.clemson.edu/gtgolfscramble22.
6:00 pm- 8:00 pm	Golden Tiger Meet and Greet and Check-In	Grand Hallway, Madren Conference Center	Mingle with your fellow reunion classmates and check-in for the upcoming festivities and receive your registration packet at the Class Meet and Greet on Wednesday evening in the Grand Hallway, inside the Madren Conference Center. Food and drink are not provided at this event, however guests may enjoy the conference center restaurant, Sole on the Green. Reservations can be made by calling 864-656-7444.

7:30 am	Registration	Madren Center	Reunion attendees will check-in at the registration desk to receive name tag and reunion packet.
9:00 am -Noon	Orange Glove Event	Cooper Library	Golden Tigers from the classes of 1970, 1971 and 1972 and their guests will take a walk down memory lane at the Orange Glove event on the 6th floor of Cooper Library. Memorabilia, special collections and photos from the late 60’s and early 70’s will be on display and orange gloves will be distributed to attendees to “handle” rare items. Shuttles from the Madren Conference Center to the Library and Memorial Auditorium will allow all Golden Tiger inductees to participate in this event throughout the morning. The classes of 1971 and 1972 will participate in the event prior to their induction and the class of 1970 will participate after. Reunion staff will be on hand to provide a full schedule upon check-in.
Noon – 1:00 pm	Lunch Break	Lunch On Your Own	Lunch Break “Lunch on your Own” Price & transportation not included in registration Time on your own to rest/refresh, enjoy Clemson, downtown and campus.
1:00 – 1:30 pm	Golden Tiger Induction Ceremony Transportation	Madren Center to Tillman Hall	All members of the Class of 1972 and their guests will shuttle from the Madren Center to Tillman Hall for Induction Ceremony. All class members and guests must park at the Madren Center and take the shuttle. The last shuttle will leave the Madren Center at 1:30 pm.
2:00 pm	Golden Tiger Induction Ceremony	Memorial Auditorium at Tillman Hall	The Golden Tiger Induction Ceremony for the Class of 1972 will take place at 2:00 pm at Memorial Auditorium and a class photo will be taken following the ceremony at Military Heritage Plaza. Shuttles will transport inductees from the Madren Conference Center to the auditorium. Parking will not be available at the auditorium so all honorees must ride the shuttle. After the ceremony, a shuttle will be on-site to take guests back to the Madren Conference Center. Attire suggestions: Gentlemen, blue blazer and Clemson/orange/purple tie; Ladies, Sunday dress attire with a touch of Clemson orange or purple. Details subject to change.

5:00 – 6:00 pm	Hospitality area open	Madren Center Bellsouth Lobby	Mix and mingle with your classmates. Open beer and wine bar available. Attire: Casual dress
6:00 – until pm	Welcome Reception	Madren Center Ballroom	Enjoy an evening gathering with your classmates celebrating the student organizations and activities that you participated in while you were a student. Heavy hors d’oeuvres. Entertainment includes DJ and dancing to the hits of the 60’s and 70’s. $55 per person. Attire: Casual Dress. Madren Center Ball Room
