Education and Outreach Programs

The South Carolina Botanical Garden is a diverse 295 acres of natural landscapes, display gardens, and miles of streams and nature trails.

We welcome all volunteers to the South Carolina Botanical Garden. There are numerous volunteer opportunities available, depending on your personal interests, abilities and skills. Our volunteer hours are flexible and dependent on your area of interest. Typically, volunteer hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  However, there are also opportunities that can be arranged outside business hours with special events and educational programs.
