Department of Food, Nutrition and Packaging Sciences External Advisory Board

The Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Sciences External Advisory Board provides professional advice and knowledge of current industry requirements, and offers recommendations on strategic plan, research requirements, curriculum updates, technology and innovations, and financial profile.  The board member may be called on from time to time to serve on committees or to be actively engaged in soliciting donations and contributions, including gifts-in-kind.  A maximum of 30 members serve three-year terms and are appointed by the department chair.  A monetary gift is optional.
